Refund Policy

The 30-Day Domain Unlock is a one-off £20 purchase including VAT. If it did not give you what you expected, ask us for a refund.

What you can request

You can request a refund of a Domain Unlock within 30 days of purchase. Requests are reviewed by a person, so a refund is not automatic, and we do not offer refunds for purchases made more than 30 days ago.

How to request one

Email hello@checkmywebsite.co.uk from the address you used at checkout and include:

  • Your Stripe receipt or order details (receipt number or payment reference).
  • The domain the unlock covers.
  • A short note on why you are asking, so we can fix the underlying problem.

We aim to reply within 3 working days. Approved refunds are returned by Stripe to the original payment method, and the time it takes to appear depends on your card issuer.

What happens to your unlock

When a refund is issued, in full or in part, the corresponding 30-Day Domain Unlock is revoked. Reports for the domain return to the free view and the hourly re-check allowance stops. The same applies if a payment is successfully disputed with your card issuer.

Free checks

Running a check is free and requires no payment, so there is nothing to refund for a free report.

Your statutory rights

This policy sits alongside your legal rights and does not affect them. If you are a consumer in the UK you keep your statutory rights under consumer law, including rights relating to digital content that is faulty or not as described. Nothing here limits those rights.
